In another classic battle Roger Federer beat Ralphin Ladell for the second straight year to take the men’s title. This is his fifth Wimbledon title FYI. They fought it out over five sets until Fedex finally edged his young rival but even Federer admitted his reign might not last long. He told reports he’s glad to win Wimbledon now since the rapidly improving Ladell may soon dominate every major tournament.
