Hey guys and welcome to the Naked Nerd Bites. So as well all know at this point Ryan Reynolds beat out Justin Timberlake and Bradley Cooper for the role of Howe Jordan in the upcoming Green Lantern flick. Thought it was a really innovative idea and something I’d want to watch as a viewer. It’s great. I love it. Even thought the circumstances are outrageous. Now I have to say I’m slightly disappointed. I love Reynolds. In fact I don’t blame him for the complete (Cuckoo) of dead pool in the horror that dare not speak its name. You mean Wolverine Origins? Okay you stop that right now. Anyway yeah I really do like Reynolds but as Howe, I mean I could see him as Guy Gardner if we were casting him as Green Lantern but Ryan is usually known as the smart aleck funny guy. Typically the dark overlord of my life kind of flips where I get a moment. Like shoot the film and then half way through it release the broken glass and rat crap so there’s no regrets as you carry on. I’m interested to see how he pulls this off and hey at least it wasn’t Timberlake. The movie starts filming in Australia soon and let me tell you if this movie delivers especially after the success of the Dark Knight, it could signal a serious rise in DC love around the globe. I thought my jokes were bad. I know I’m usually a Marvel girl but DC has been delivering in a big way recently with the success of Battle for the Cow, the Dark Knight, the upcoming Blackest Night saga, the Wonder Woman movie, all their kick ass vertigo titles and after reading Marvel divas, I might even switch allegiances.
