Anyway I’m wearing this hat in armage to the sane of killers. The baddest bad ass in any comic ever. He’s from the Garth Ennis masterpiece Preacher which is a clever way for me to segway into preacher news. Welcome to the Naked Nerd Bite. So last we heard about preacher was when Sam Mendes announced last October that he was taking the reins on the project. In a recent interview Mendes gave us fan boys and girls some long awaited and much anticipated new info on the project. The Road to Perdition director named John August as script writer on the flick and confirmed he was not going to try and cram the 66 issue series into one movie. That’s a relief. I don’t think you can fit all that into one movie. Hell I don’t think he can fit all that into three. Preacher has been said to be one of those unfilmable movies but they said that about Watchmen too and I thought it translated well, so we’ll see.
